Method
Cook the onions
- In a small skillet melt the butter and add the onions and sauté until they are soft.
- In a large bowl add the cubed bread, (I used a baguette) onion mixture, eggs, cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Cover the bowl and rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- After they rested, Take a small piece (I used a cookie scoop) roll into balls then flatten them. Pan fry each one for 2-4 minutes on each side.
- These are served with broth! whatever broth you want. I just used some chicken broth from a carton and warmed it up, but homemade broth would be best I bet!
